Default Thrilled For Federal Intervention - Harris County Jail Texas

I am pinching myself at the just announced federal investigation of the Harris County Jail in Houston. Chris endured some really bad things at the hands of these people and it is an absolute blessing to see the Justice Department is looking this den of filth and corruption. This should be a wake-up call for those who house and care for inmates/offenders whether it's a county jail or TDC. You will answer for your actions, one way or another.

Keep us updated on what happens with the investigation! It's good to know somethings going to be done, even if it is after-the-fact. And it's always after-the-fact!

That is what needs to happen, keep speaking up about what is going on.

TDC can and will get a look. It's not a matter of if, but when. People with knowledge of misdeeds MUST speak up. The offender/inmate really has no voice about what goes on in these places, but WE DO! This federal investigation into Harris County was no doubt spurred, at least in part, by the phone calls, letters and e-mails sent to U.S. Attorneys (federal prosecutors), judges, Senators and Congressmen. I know this. I made many, many calls myself and NEVER took no for an answer. Right is right and wrong is wrong and when YOU are RIGHT about THEM being WRONG, it wont stay buried forever.
