Default Feds Investigate Harris County Jail - Texas

Feds investigate Harris County Jail

05:29 PM CST on Friday, March 7, 2008

KHOU.com staff report The U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday that it is investigating the treatment of prisoners at the Harris County Jail.

Read more a khou.com

I have read this story in full. It also seeks to determine whether Harris County Officials do enough to protect inmates. This investigation is a blessing. The corruption in Harris County is coming to a head and it's about time. It gives me goose bumps that the US Justice Department is heading this. Not a lot of grey area here!!!

my fiance was there for a month. he said it was worse than prison. I had a fairly pleasant time when visiting for visitation though. They were always really nice to me and helpful. Guess they have to appear nice on the outside to cover up what they really do. figures.
