The most wonderful time visiting my sweetheart

Well this is my third time visiting in nine months. In a way I thank god for them moving him closer to me. It was such a journey the first two times- 8 hours driving on eight cups of coffee, no sleep, two packs of cigarettes, a screaming one month newborn- lactating all over the place, changing diapers and cleaning throw-up all the way down route 17. By the time I got there I smelt like baby doodo and baby throw-up and had no time to pretty up, I showed up at 12:00 and got to visit him for two very short hours. Can’t seem to remember the first 1hour of the visit. I couldn’t look at him, couldn’t talk- to busy crying tears, I could have filled up 3 baby bottles full of tears. When I finally gained composure the visit was over. The second time was a little better, I cried just a little bit and baby was three months old so she was able to sleep the entire night while I drove but baby cried every time he picked her up, so it kind of bummed him out. This time it was perfect, my baby was 5 months old and the drive was only 2hours and baby was smiling all the way up there and I didn’t have to stop to feed her. I got there nice and early and he welcomed me with a big smile and a big hug. He couldn’t believe how much she's grown, she double her weight and size since the last visit. He held her almost the entire visit and fed her and she was smiling and laughing at him. It was such a magical moment to be all together again. I spend the whole visit in his arms, hugging and kissing. We showered each other with nothing but compliments and love. We shed only a few tears this time. He gave us a group hug, kissed me, kissed the baby and we said our goodbyes. I will be visiting him again this coming Sunday, I cant wait until this week is over, I miss him so much. He told me as soon as he gets out the first thing he wants to do is marry me.

They will eventually move him; I’m praying that it’s not too far away again. I live for these visits.

Thank you, I just noticed your from Ulster county. That is where I just came from. My sweetheart is in Eastern. You know what was really strange. There were a couple of inmates, I know they were inmates because the were wearing green pants walking casualy along highway-209. Is it true they allow inmates to walk around the prison and in town?????????????????????????????????????????????

No, for the record, I'm pretty sure they don't let them roam although they do send out work crews. I wonder what was up with that? haven't heard anything about state green being the Next Chic Thing in Ellenville but I guess you never know?

wow i'm glad you made it. my love is eastern also. at times i see inmates out side but thier from the anex, not the max

Yea, I thought they were from the annex. My man started in the annex and then they moved him to the max awaiting yet another transfer but hopefully not this week because Im planning another visit.
