Default Pittsburgh Visits are Terrible

I went to visit mt husband this weekend who was just moved to Pittsburgh and they spent 33million on what? The visiting room is small and you'll get your visit terminated if it gets too crowded. 1st one in is the first one out. If the room gets crowded quickly you're outta there in minutes. The visiting room is extremely small. 50 seats aT BEST

I have found when sending mail to CFCF it has to be in this format or they send it back:
Inmate name and pp#
7901 State Road
Philadelphia, PA. 19136
When I would put CFCF on the address line, the post office would send it back with CFCF is not a street Name (that's some dumb stuff)

I also highlight his name and PP# with a yellow highlighter. My man says it really helps him get the mail quicker.

FYI: It is terribly overcrowded ALL THE TIME. Your man will be in a two man cell with at least two or three other men. There are rats (one nite while I was there, a rat ran through the waiting room!) The whole visiting system is chaotic and you will often wait 2 to 3 hours for a 30 minute visit. The waiting area is noisy, crowded, and dirty. You will be patted down before every visit. They are regularly short-staffed and they go into lock-down almost daily.

The clothing rules for visitors is VERY strict: NO open-toe shoes, NO plain white t-shirts, NO sleeveless shirts and NO jewelry except a wedding band.

Once you are on the visit, the COs will watch you like a hawk.

I am not "bashing" here, just trying to give you the heads-up.
