As many of you know, Tito has signed his transfer papers since the damn summer, but yet remains in Gowanda!! UGHHHH

My dilema is this: I last heard from Tito last week and i told him that his collect calls were going to get blocked because i just don't have the money to pay for it. I don't know if its still on or what. He's been real lazy and hasn't written to me since God knows when (not that thats the issue here). He told me that there has been alot of movement going on in Gowanda and that he "feels" he's leaving with in a few weeks. I am tired of checking the Docs website, does anyone know how often its updated??

Also, is there a way i can find out if MCI cut my calls off??

I know from experience that they do the transfers whenever. Ny friend went from Greene to Hudson. I would think calling MCI and they would be able to tell you if they blocked your phone.

Try calling your home phone number collect from a pay phone and that will let you know, probably, whether it's blocked.

DOCS website is updated everyday and MCI has a number you can call to find out, if you call there main number and ask for the number for the high toll department, they'll give it to you.

Yes, DOCS is updated daily, so it is worth checking every day.

NYS DOC website is updated daily, I believe in the afternoon. The number for MCI's High Toll dept. is 800-937-1048. They will let you know if you phone is blocked or not. Good Luck

well i just tried to make a long distance call and it was a fast busy signal so i know for sure that its cut off, but he did call me yesterday. He is going to have to get pen and paper and start writing. I will keep keep checking teh DOCS website every few days. thanks for your replies

hey! my brother said there is a lot of movement going on too. he doesn't know why either. i wonder what is goign on. at least he is saying he is okay. he is a very tall built guy, like one of the biggest there, so a lot of people try to make friends with him... the guards dont mess with him because he unfortunately talks to them like they are normal decent human beings (when you know they dont deserve it). it is funny. the guards there steal his food all the time. it makes him so mad, because stealing is why he is there. so they are doing the same thing he is in there for. i am sorry tito isnt transferred yet. how much time does he have now? well good luck on everything. take care.
