Default Employment Program In Miami, Fl

PLEASE HELP,

I HAVE A 28 YEAR OLD FRIEND WHO, IF GOD PERMITS, WILL BE OUT OF PRISON IN NOVEMBER. HE IS A VERY GOOD HEARTED PERSON, AND ENDED UP IN PRISON BECAUSE OF LIFE'S UNPREDICTABLE CHALLENGES AND UNFAIRNESS. HIS FAMILY LIVES IN MIAMI, FL AND WE ARE ALL TRYING TO FIND HIM A JOB.

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW OF ANY JOB PROGRAMS FOR EX-CONVICTS IN MIAMI, FL? I KNOW THERE IS ONE IN WASHINGTON, AND I'M HOPING THERE'S ONE IN EVERY STATE. AS YOU ALL KNOW, IT IS VERY HARD FOR EX-CONS TO FIND A JOB AND CONTINUE TO LIVE A GOOD AND HONEST LIFE.

IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO, PLEASE POST ON THIS WEBSITE. I'LL BE CHECKING CONSTANTLY.

THANK YOU[size=3][size=3][color=blue][color=blue]

Default EDD

Hello love:

Have your friend sign up with a job developer at the Urban League. Next, have him go to the EDD in your state. The EDD has special services for people with disabilities or barriers to employment. A criminal record/conviction qualifies as a barrier to employment.

Check with your local adult school for classes in Facilities Maintenance. Also go to the website of your city and find out what job opportunities are available.

He can be employed as long as he's honest and applies himself.

I don't have the site on me and don't have too much time right now but I had come across a site in Miami Dade. It was thru the District Att. office, a division that assisted ex felons with jobs, education and such. I think (having a blond moment) I had searched in google miami ex felon.

Don't forget that Ready4work offers services for ex cons and so does Jobjunction, associated with Goodwill.
