Visitation Age

Hello everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there is an age limit to go to Pelican Bay for a visit. Im 17 years old and I haven't seen my brother in almost... 10 years. I Write him every other week when I recieve his letter. He recently sent me some Visitation forms but my Mom wont go. Thanks!

Sorry to tell you but im pretty sure you have to be 18. At least in FL you do. You might want to try posting this in the AZ thread. As far as I know you have to be 18, because otherwise you'll need a gaurdian. Someone will be along to tell you more. Good Luck.

Thanks, I kinda figured it would be that way. Just gotta wait another 8 months, waited 10 years I can handle 8 months. You said something about AZ laws, but hes in California, AZ laws probably wouldn't matter I would think. To make matters worst he's in the SHU so thats another strike againt having "minors" in by themselves.

In CA, all minors must be accompanied by an adult - if the adult is NOT the parent/legal guardian, then a notorized letter must be presented. Hope this helps....
