Default Can a felon still fly on an airline?

I'm taking a trip and would like to know if any felons have had any problems flying? I'm a felon about to fly state to state, should I except anything?

i think it is mostly a problem if you go outside the country. maybe you should call your airline and ask them or email them? good luck, let us know what you find out.

Yep, domestic flights are cool. Overseas are a bit more of a hassle. If you stay within the States you should be fine.

Shouldn't have a problem at all. As long as you a state/government issued ID to get on the plane, and aren't on their "watch list" you shouldn't have any problems at all. Good luck!

I'm an ex-felon and have never had any problems...I have been out of the country 7 times and I am still on parole. I thought it would be hard to get a passport but it isn't. If someone is still on parole or probation though it depends on who the Po is and you have to get a travel pass, but if you are not on any type of supervision then it is no problem at all.

A dear friend of mine has a violent felony record and flies several times a year, domestically and internationally, with no trouble at all.

Default Passport Control

There is no issue for a felon to travel in/out of the us. The problem is if you attempt to exit/enter the us through a gateway and you have an active felony warrant. At that point, you would be detained right after passing the passport control station. The GOOD thing is that since traffic tickets are not felonies, that database is not checked!!!!
