Somewhere In South Africa - Tyse Mattesen

I am trying to find a friend of mine who is in prison somewhere near Cape Town. He got 12 years for a sexual offence. I don't know all of the details. I tried writing to Pollsmoor Prison, but this place is known for alot of prisoner abuse. I have heard worse than the Polunsky Unit in Texas, so I wasn't surprised when they didn't respond. His name is Tyse Mattysen. His given name at birth was Hendrick or Hendrix. I know that his wife divorced him as soon as he went to prison. Her name is Mindy Mattysen. She lives somewhere in Texas. He was imprisoned in January 1999 or Dec. 1998. I have also tried Hope Prison Ministry. They go into Pollsmoor Prison but so far they have been unable to locate him. If someone could help me find him that would be great.
