Default Help

Hello,
I am new at this. My mom is at a camp in Florida and has been there for 9 months and has a year left. I am just having one of those days where I feel as though I can't keep taking care of everything and I just want my mommy. Through all of this my parents are getting a divorce after being married 35 years and my dad has totally abandoned me and my sister. He is selling the house that I grew up in and so I have had to rent an apartment and separate their belongings and I just can't handle this any more.

Oh girl how sad for you to be caught in the middle of you and your parents.......and how extremely crappy of your dad to walk out on you and your sister....especially now when you need him the most......Man I feel your pain......things will get better. You can do this!! Hang in there and keep coming to PTO......we will be here for you!! Honey, you still have your mommy, she is with you no matter where you go in life, in spirit and in your heart!! Always hang onto that!

I totally feel you girl!! My Mom has been in since April and has a year left. I may be an adult but I still need my mommy too. There is so many times in a womans life that only a mother knows what to say. I feel like I need her approval with every decission that I make and I can't just call and ask her and somethings just can wait. I miss talking to her on the phone before I go to bed and hearing her say goodnight. Things seem so unfair sometimes. For the first few months I was so lost but then I decided to try and make a difference somehow. Ever since then I have devoted my extra time digging into the system with both feet and letting them know that they are wrong. I write letters and sent emails to anybody I can. I want to stand up for her and make the road a little bit easier for someone else. I have joined several groups that all they need is letters written and phone calls made to help them make a change. This helps me to know that I am still fighting for her and It helps to pass the time.i have done a ton of legal research and helped several friends and relatives avoid some high cost low rate attorney fee. I have encouraged lots of people to study and represent themselves and they came out better than others with thousands of dollars in attorney fees. Find something to help the time go by and remember, She is always your Mother, and she will always love you!!
