Back from my SHU Visit at Pelican Bay

Dear all,
Just to let you all know that I’m finally back in England after visiting my honey at Pelican Bay SHU.

I actually got extremely lucky and out of the 4 visits 3 of them where double so I got 9-11am and then 1-3pm

I went with my honey’s brother for the 2nd weekend and when he inquired about him getting double visits they added the both of us on there.

I managed to get a quick hello and a wave from some of the other inmates in there who my honey knows and although they are living a nightmare they all seem in fairly good spirits.

I’m afraid that’s all I have to report because I’m now feeling empty and missing him so much it has turned into a physical pain in my chest. I’m going to try my hardest to visit for thanksgiving in November as we both decided 6 months is just to long to wait.

Hey Deb,
I ended up wearing black pants and thin but high necked sweaters and white cropped jeans and what us English call trainers (tennis shoes)
All was fine I managed to get in OK but on the 1st weekend they where sending a lot of people away for dress code regulations

Hi Joanna, I'm glad you had a good trip and visit. I'm sure it was hard to leave and return home alone. I hope you are able to visit again at Thanksgiving. Try to keep your spirits up, I will be praying for you.

bless your heart! thank god for the women of the world, i think it must be true that WE keep it (the world) moving on it's path! there is something very different about women. when Fed-X started this i wonder if he had all these women in mind?

Glad to see you back in good old Europe !!! Well, I know you would prefer being in California, I do hope you'll be able to go there for Thanksgiving.

I'm happy you had such great visits, I hope you will give more details later. We missed you on PTO, and you missed this crazy heat we were having till the end of last week in Europe !! Queen Elizabeth even considered not wearing a hat anymore !!

I don't understand why you didn't wear those wonderful J.P Gaultier, Christian Lacroix and Chanel outfit I sent you pictures of, but anyway, I think you are gorgeous just wearing anything !

What...no high heels??? Joanna in "trainers"??? (When I met Joanna I thought "well, she's tiny, but not quite as short as I thought she would be!"...an hour or so later I noticed that she was wearing 3 inch heels!)
We'll be waiting to hear that you're on your way back, Jo - sure hope you manage the Thanksgiving trip!

Ah Phil you are such a sweetie, I did hear about this heat wave Europe was having Im glad its cooled down since my return!
Yep Jane you got it, I'm only 5ft so just managing 5.3 with the heels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im feeling a little better today, still a bit empty so soon I will explain my visits and bore you all to death!
