No Visits in Harris County Jail this weekend - Texas

Friday October 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th Harris county Jail at 701 N. San Jacinto will not allow visitors to visit loved ones due to some ministry taking place in county for the entire weekend. This also applies to 1200 Baker street. I Thought I would pass this along just in case you have a loved one locked up in Harris County and you were not informed. Visits resume Monday October 16th. I do not recall this happening last year but the guards informed me that a group of people come volunteer to come in and teach the word to the inmates. Does anyone else know anything about this?

The visits have resumed this weekend but the lines are crazy and if you want to visit and be able to see your loved one you must be there an hour before they start. Jeannie
