Question Famous/high profile inmates in Cali

Hi,
My boyfriend is at Mule Creek, and heard that there are some inmates there that are "famous"-Tex Watson, one of the Menendez brothers, and I think he said one more that I can't remember. Anyway, just out of curiosity, does anybody know of anyone else?

Suge Knight was there a few years ago, I used to see him...one weekend his wife would come and the next weekend Mich'ele the singer would come. i thought he was NOT ATTRACTIVE at all.
I did see the younger Menendez brother there once too. his grandmother or some aunt or someone was there. it was older women....like senior citizen kind of older.

I'm sure there are more since most high profile or very famous need to go SNY (PC) for their own safety.

Also - this thread is over 2 years old - so who knows where Watson may be?. I know that one of the Menendez brothers is at PVSP (SNY) and Charles Manson is in PHU at Corcoran.

Besides that this thread is more than 2 years old, I'd like to remind everyone that even "high profile" inmates are somebody's husband, son, father, lover or friend and to please refrain from posting anything you would not like to see posted about your own son, husband or dad.

You can go on www.wikipedia.org and type in Mule Creek State Prison for a current or more up to date list of "high profile" prisoners ... there or any other prison. I joke that all the pretty boys with trust funds get sent there ... it seems that way.

I heard that Charles Watson is no longer at MCSP, but I'm not sure where he is now.

I thing Michel'le is married to Flex and they have kids. At Corcoran of course, Charles Manson is there and Robert Downey Jr. was there at one time.

at PVSP Erik Menendez is there, and Sirhan Sirhan was just moved there. I believe Phil Spector was there or was supposed to be there, but went through the courts to try to not go there because he was afraid of valley fever, not sure exactly about what happened with that. Jesse Rugge I believe was or is still there, if you saw the movie alpha dog you would know about him. The son of the sheriff in OC who videotaped the rape of the girl on the pool table is there also, dont know his name. And a few musicians are there.

like starfish said it is interesting. im in australia and dont know any of the names you mentioned. being high profile prisoners are they less likely to be 'targeted' or more likely to start fights? i thought pelican bay was where they housed high profile people?? or is that in a different state?

There isnt one specific prison where high profilie cases will be housed in. They are under the same requirements as most other inmates, except for the fact that they have to be on an SNY yard because of there case. I am not sure if they are more prone to fights though. Of course its a possibility...but I dont know for sure.

Pelican Bay houses those inmates deemed to be the most likely to cause trouble.

High profile prisoners are those whose case caused a lot publicity or those who are famous.

I'm sure you have heard of the O. J. Simpson case - IF he had been convicted of killing his wife, he would have fallen into both categories. His trial was highly publicized and as an actor/sports hero he was famous.
