I'm feelin really sad and confused~My Ex Brother-in-Law Killed himself

My sister in CA sent me an email lastnight telling me her ex-husband, whom I was still friends with (they were married in their late teens and been divorced forever!) killed himself by shootting himself in the head 2 weeks ago!! He was a Meth addict and I guess he just had had enough. His current wife (my son and I went to their wedding a couple years ago!) was an addict too. He had sold the ranch we all grew up on (which he had inheirited) and didn't work, just sat around and did drugs, traveled a little, etc. I am so sad but also very angry!!

I hate the way drugs have hurt so many in my life and everyone elses lives!!!!

I guess I'd rather be angry then cry!!

I am glad he is not suffering any more.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My brother in law also shot and killed himself several years ago. He was addicted to crack cocaine and he and my sister were in the middle of a divorce. It was a very difficult time for all of us and sometimes I still get angry when I think about it. I try to remember him as the person he was before he became an addict. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you everyone!! Writing about it helped a little and I too try to remember him as he once was!! I hope his widow does wake up. I was going to look for her but I can't deal with it right now. She has family out there. Hope she gets help. Thanks again, you guys are great!

I am so sorry to hear that too... My ex, who is a meth addict attempted to kill himself a year ago... luckily he didn't succeed.. It is such a sad thing to lose someone you care about to that..My thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone who loved him..
