Default Anyone know about Daytop?

What is DayTop? I know it is a rehab/drug program, but does anyone know how it is? Do they ever leave if they are inpatient? Can you visit? Get calls or make them, etc?

Thanks for any information.

Day Top

Here is some information about this program.
My suggestion to you would be to contact the program in the city you are interested in knowing information about and call them.

I for one have never heard of this treatment center, but from what I have read, it appears to be a very good one.

When you do find out information about Day Top, I hope you will post the information you know so that we all can learn about this treatment center.

Sunnie

Hi Sunnie,

Just sharing the info I got today. BTW, my bf is in Connecticut. He is allowed to make calls, but they are prepaid. Visits are not allowed, but there is an open house generally on the last Thursday of the month. They are not sure if this month's will be the 24th or the 31st. Have to wait and see. It is a 3 hour visit from 6 pm to 9 pm. They won't give any info on the phone about if they are there, etc. Privacy issues I am gathering. You have to be on their DOC visiting list, or be put on the rehab's visiting list if your not on the DOC one. Pretty much the same procedure as with DOC. He sends the form, you send it back to the counselor, etc.

Will post more info after I visit. Thank you for the info you provided.
