Default Substance abuse program, CRC Norco

Does anybody know anything about the substance abuse program at CRC Norco, CA or the conditions there? Is it safe? My 23-year-old son is headed there from reception at High Desert in Susanville and I can't find any information on the program itself. I have no idea how long it can take or if it really can help. He is headed there over repeatedly violating his probation for pot charges.. I don't even know how long he will be in reception at High desert before being transferred to CRC.
HELP!!!!! Any information is greatly appriciated.

Eek! I wish I had info for you, but I don't know too much about it. My cousin served almost 3 and a half years at Norco, and he is currently there on a probation violation. He's in the program as well. He may be getting out 7/27, and I am writing him a letter now, so I'll see what info I can get from him.

norco, is the civil addict proram an the courts tell these people to take it cuz its a 7 or 9 month program an they'll be out!! now, thats a laugh. the n number program is a set up. i'm a felon number an have done a few terms at crc as such. they also have felon numbers there too!! mind u this is my personal opinion an views. but, i have done sometime with the civil addicts an watch the things they have gone thru an the return rates are extremely high. their parole is alot tougher than felon parole. the p.o.'s will violate them at the drop of a hat. i also know n #'s who had been on the program for 14 yrs. it is extremely hard to get off that number. don't get me wrong some people can an do get off it.but, its not a proram that i would recommend to anyone. as far as crc is concerned, its a joke there, by that i mean, its so darn old an in disrepair. the water is black! u think i'm kidding? i'm serious as a heart attack. especially now during the summer. the well, gets low an it becomes mud. u can be in the shower an it'll start turning black an gritty. they keep saying they are gonna shut it down but thats a laugh too. its also the prison in the state of cali that houses both men an women. u see each other but there's no contact. feel free to ask me whatever u need to know.
