Here are a few websites on the program. Simply type in the state and Shock Incarceration Program after that and you should get enough info on google

Shock incarceration is just like being sentenced to prison or jail. You follow the same rules as everyone else, you shower where everyone else does, you eat the same food and so on. I know in the state of Missouri that Shock incarceration in DOC is for 120 days, the time starts when you are transferred to DOC. When you get about 90 days thru the 120 days, you see a probation or parole officer, and they review your conduct, and any classes that you have attented while incarcerated, ask some questions about your plans if you are released, and make a reccomendation to the court that sentenced you. Then the judge either decides to "call you back" meaning to release you back on probation, or to keep you in the custody of the DOC, at which time you will start serving your sentence.

My brother was given shock which was to be 120days and SR, however he served more than that and only concerns from the family and his medical neglect reminded the MODOC to realize he was still there.......good luck...stay on them... and don't let them get the best of you! Just make sure keep in contact with those outside that can help you because they CAN and will be forgetful!
