Question how to send mail

does anyone know how many envalopes and pencils they can recieve at one time?

I don't think you are allowed to send pencils. I am able to send the following for my husband who is Tehachapi, CA. You may want to call the prison's mail room. Hope this helps.

Postal Stamps (40 stamps or 40 pre-stamped envelopes)
Photos- only 10 (no larger than 8x10)
Greeting cards (plain, no foil, glitter, metal springs, etc.)
Letters
Money Orders/Checks- (with the inmates name and CDC # listed on the check or M.O.)
Anything on the “Approved” vendor list, on each vendor’s website (for quarterly/special purchases, CCI specificly)

The rules are a bit different at every prison so you'll want to check the guide for your man's facility.... in the California forum, there's a guide "stickied" at the top of each prison subforum. When in doubt, you can aleways call the mailroom at the prison and ask.
