Default 'Bonding" info on Ex-Prisoners

Reading through some post I went to try and find some things for x-felons and getting employment.
I found this site about how Employers can get funds for free up to 6 months for hiring a ex-felon. The site explains more.
Might be worth something to check out? If the employer is skeptial of the risk factors in someone who is wanting to stay outside the walls instead of going back. When you apply for the job it may be a good idea to ask if the "Bonding Issue" is a factor of getting hired.

Another thing is that a lot of employers get a tax break by hiring x-felons not to mention people trying to get off the welfare payroll. They also get bonding from the feds.
Hope it is helpful.

here in Chicago, Illinois Department of Employment Security, offers up to $5,000 dollars in employment bond money to exoffenders....it's actually federal dollars...so you have to find the gov. agency/dept. in your state that's using the program......However, it's almost like a big secret...it's like they give you the brochure and youre on your own....the nonprofits that help exoffenders, like Safer Foundation, have their own moneies for bonding exoffenders...so you have to take the brochure ,present it to the employer and hope for the best????...Just another political front...o well...
