1st visit to corcoran, please help!

Hi. I'll be going to Corcoran for my first visit over the Labor Day weekend. Since I'm flying out from Jacksonville, Fl and have never been there, does anyone have any information they could give? Like where to stay, what the process is like, and anything else would be great. I'm really nervous, since this is the first time we'll be meeting face to face! Thanks.

Ok Corcoran. The town is not a town at all. So make sure you bring correct clothes. Shoes with back straps if sandal type. Stay at the Corcoran Country Inn phone (559)992-5724. They will give you a $5 discount if you say you are visiting someone in prison. There are two motels in town but this one is the cleanest. They do have a pool and they have refrig and mircowaves in the room. There is a bus that goes from the front of the hotel to the prison. I am not sure of the times since I always drive there. There is an Amtrack station with bus service also. There is a store right next to the motel along with a Taco Bell and McDonalds. If you need any other info let me know. Have a great visit.
