Pictures! (can inmates send them to us?)

Hey Peepz!

I wuz Wondering if they could send US Pictures from in there... i send certain INMATES Send Picz.. to their Loved Ones so im wondering if they could send US..one that way i ask .. my BABY for one.. if anyone knows... let me know

Yes, they should be able to send you pictures. My man sent me pictures when he was in Wasco...(he is now in Centinella) and I know that they can TAKE pictures at Centinella, so I see no reason as to why they wouldn't be able to send them to you.

What he has to do is purchase a photo ducat from Canteen. My husband said that they are $2 each. Then he takes this slip of paper to the person who takes the pictures, and they take 1 poloroid picture per photo ducat. (The pictures suck, being poloroids and all, but at least it is a picture, right? ha ha ha.)

My hubby and I just took a picture on our last visit this past weekend. I took the picture home with me though, cause then I can make copies for him and send them to him so that he can send them to his family and stuff.

Do you visit your man? If so, tell him to purchase a photo ducat before your next visit, and to bring it to visitation, and then you two can take a picture together, and you can take it home with you.

unfortunately...

i have never visit him.. for the simply FACT.. that even though i have the Application all fill out im Afraid that there going to Not Approve it and besides.. i don't have any type of transportation.. to get up there.. and specially w/this GAS..Prices.. i don't think any one would take me up there.... but THANXS A lot for ur help i appreciate it....

I KNOW THAT THEY CAN SEND PICS OUT AND YOU CAN SEND IN, ALMOST EVERY PRISON HAS A ONCE IN A WHILE DAY WHERE THEY HAVE PEOPLE COME OUT AND TAKE PICTURES OF THE INMATES FOR FAMILY.FOR A FACT I KNOW CENTINELA DOES. IF SOMEONE VISITS THEY CAN TAKE A PIC OF HIM AND HE WOULD HAVE TO MAIL IT TO YOU, IF HE'S GOT ONE OF HIMSELF AND WANTS TO MAIL TO YOU HE CAN DO THAT ALSO. GOOD LUCK

They do every so often have professional pictures done. Kind of like school pictures. These pictures are the ones they can take on the inside. But the polaroids are only in the visiting room. They aren't allowed the ducat/polaroid access on the inside. Your boyfriend can find out when the next upcoming picture day comes up and you can put the money on his books and that is how he will pay for them. Good Luck

thanxs another thing i never send him money because his step dad always does that.. put how can i send him ... money??

sorry for asking to many questions... but is the first time he's actually in A county jail for so long.. and very far.... so datz why im clueless bout all this but thanxz .. for each one of ur help..

Hi... Yes picture ducats can be bought from canteen by the inmate. And money could be sent by a money order bought from the post office or you could try JPAY.com I heard it was really fast. But when I pulled up my man's info it placed him in Ventura! LOL we have nothing to do with Ventura county we were only Kern then the wonderful Centinella..Imperial County. OH on the envelope write "money order" if it happens to get to your boyfriend he could get in trouble. This happened in Wasco and he got the third degree. It was funny because he has always been locked down and window visits... I guess they actually thougt he shit money. Go figure I've been rockin a gold mine all this time.
