I am new to this whole thing. I have never done any communicating by computer, so please bare with me. I am trying to find someone else that has a boyfrined in ellsworth correctional facility. My boyfriend was recently sent there from norton. I know there are other people out there trying to deal with the samethings I am. The constant worrying if they are okay and the feeling that they will be gone forever. It is funny how you miss the small things, watching tv together or just looking over and seeing him there. I can't mail him even a letter till I know where he is housed, I think. Like I said I am new. I have to go for now, if someone could answer that would be great.
No like I said I have never done this before. I think I will ge the hang of this quick, hopefully. This whole situation is crazy. The pain is so intense and you can't trust anyone. I guess that sounds extreme, but it feels that way most of the time. Thank you for your reply. Good luck.
Hi! I am new to this too. I do not have any one in Ellsworth but I can relate to what you are saying with your concerns and missing the small things. My man has been in prison in KS before but only for a year..out for 2 years and is now being held by the Feds. He hasn't been convicted and hopefully wont be, but he has already been gone for almost 3 months..I didn't think we would ever hve to face this type of thing again in life. Sometimes it seems like the bad things bring people closer. Our baby girl just turned 5 months old today. I'm sure you will get some response for your Ellsworth person. Good luck.
Welcome to PTO! My stepson was in Ellsworth before he was put on work release. He never had many problems there. He seemed to do fine, they had some good vocational things for the guys to do...He trained dogs for a while, and even sent some crafts home. Try not to worry...I hope you hear from him soon!
" holddddddddd on.... come on baby, holddddd onnn... we're headed for a better life......."
Hi there Lynn and welcome, you can go to the Kansas Department of Corrections web site and click on offender search and find him. He will be there the minute he is transfered. You can also send him a letter just getting the address off of that same website. Go to KDOC and look at facilitys in Kansas and there it will be with the address. He will carry the same number throughout his prison stay no matter what Kansas prison he is in. Good luck to you and there are some nice people in there. You might look up ROCKYZWIFEY and she will be of alot of help to you. She is on here from time to time. Again good luck. MOm
Hi Lynn! I am actually new to this too. My husband has been in jail the last 4 months on a parole hold. He finally went to court and 2 of the charges were dropped but he pled to 1 misdemeanor class B non person criminal damage to property. So, he has to go in front of the parole board again to see if they are going to revoke him and for how long. I went to see him this morning and found out that they had picked him up in the middle of the night to take him to a prison facility. They can't tell you where because they are in transport. So, I am sitting here worrying and not knowing where he is going to end up. I'm hoping that it isn't Norton because that is almost a 5 hour drive. Thinking of you and know how you feel!
Well wouldn't you know it! I just looked him up on the KDOC website and they did move him to Norton. So, now I have to wait to get approved for the visitation. Man!!! I hate the thought of a 5 hour drive; but I can't wait to give him a big HUG!
