needs advice

A friend at Corcoran needs info on what is available to him when (& if) paroled. He’s a recovering drug addict with diabetes and would have a very rough time on the street. He has no place to live and no family or friends who want to help him. Any suggestions? I know he would appreciate the snail mail address of anyone he might write to for advice.

I guess that would depend on what city he will be paroled too, in reguards to what's available.

Before he gets out he should be able to go to pre-release and will be told some things that will be available to him.

CLARE has a men's Sober Living house in Venice on Westminister Ave near Oakwood Park. I don't have their phone # handy, but the main # for CLARE will be listed in the Santa Monica directory. Also, there is the Hope Chapel of Venice on Rose Ave.
