Exclamation RDAP: Is it worth attending?

My husband wants to attend the RDAP in his facility to reduce his sentence. The counselor is giving him a hard time getting in. Because there is no statement in his presentence report that he failed his initial drug test in pretrial services, the counselor is ruling him ineligible. Is the RDAP worth attending? What are the pros and cons of completing the program and are there any negative reprocussions when he is release from prison?

It is worth attending because it will help him with addictive behaviour. Unfortunately you arent elgible if you werent considered an addict when arrested or evaluated. If he lied about that he ought to come clean and ask for it to be reconsidered. There are so few programs these days, if he has a chance to get in one, it will be for his own good.
