Please share with us your Easter traditions/recipes . What do you all do- go go to a relative's, make something special at home? Do you have turkey or ham?

We usually go to Grams house for dinner and have a honey baked ham (Mmmm mmmm good).I usually don't eat ham but that I look forward to every year!
Also on the menu is mashed potatos and gravy, rolls, potato salad (sometimes) and some type of caserole like green bean. This year I'll probably make my corn casserole as it is a big hit

Sure It sounds kind of icky but trust me it is sooooo good! It has been the biggest hit out of all the new dishes I have tried out on my family

1/2 Cup melted butter
2 Eggs
1 Box Jiffy corn mix (It is a corn muffin mix I attached a pic below)
1 Can creamed corn
1 can whole corn (with all or 1/2 the juice)
1 - 2 Cups sour cream
2 Cups grated colby jack or chedder jack cheese

In 13x9 baking dish add melted butter & eggs,Mix well
Add Jiffy corn mix, cream corn, whole corn, Mix well
Drop spoonfulls of sour cream on top
Then top with cheese
Cover with aluminum foil
Bake at 359 for 35-45 minutes (until cooked well)

Yes- that's the kind of tradition I like too ! We cooks deserve a break now and then!

Cali- that sounds good- is the texture more like a pudding or a really moist cornbread?

I have tried plenty of Candied Yams recipes but I am looking for a GOOD one. I love candied yams but rarely are they made good. I want to make some for Easter. So ladies do any of you have any good recipies?

Amen to that! The main reason that I am not cooking is that I have to work on Easter.
