mY NAme is Katie im 12 years old. why is your father in prison?

My step father is in for supposdly sexually abusing his x-wifes daughters 4years ago.. it didnt even happen though. My stepdad is serving 5-15 years in prison. He didnt really do this though. I hate it that he is rotting in prison for something he didnt do. alot of people r saying that he isnt even gonna serve 5 years but some people are saying he is gonna serve at least 10. I dont know what to think. im only 12 and im going through a bad time. this isnt how kids lifes are supposed to be. Kids arent supposed 2 be miserbale,depressed or sad. Kids are suppsed 2 be happy,joyful, and HYPER!! but im not.. im the first 3.sad misreable and depressed.
its really lonley without brian here.
