quartely package delivery

how long does it usually take for their quartely package to be delivered after you've paid for it online at accesscatalog?????????????? i paid for scott's over a 2 weeks ago and he STILL hasn't gotten it. i'm about ready to kill someone, HELP!!!

It shouldnt take that long, unless there were some items in the package that werent in stock and they are holding it due to that. I would call access and check with them to see whats going on!

If you included CDs in your package it will take longer than usual for the package to arrive. Access orders the CDs from another vendor. They wait for the CDs to arrive, then put the rest of the package together. The normal wait is about 2 weeks though. Call them and give them his CDC #. They will tell you if the package has been shipped. Also, sometimes the R&R department at the prison holds on to the package for a few days before delivering it to the inmate.

When I sent packages to Pelican Bay sometimes they would sit in the mail room for days or weeks before being given to my ex so it is possible that that is where the hold up is,in the mail room!

Ladies,

My husband says that he does not have any room to store food if I send it through the quarterly package process because he has so much stuff and his locker is small. I prefer to send the package because it is cheaper for more stuff and I can charge it on a credit card. I think that the money on the books should only be for emergencies(when you run out of something, need to see the Dr. etc.). Do you ladies have any advice or suggestions? THANKS!

my man is at wasco reception i wanted to know where i should order packages for him when he was at pitchess i used mycarepack what gets used at wasco?

My understanding is that they can't have quarterly packages while in Reception. If I'm wrong - someone please correct me.......The company that serviced Pitchess is through the county - so that's a whole different thing.......

Amen to that!!!! I hate sending my husband money.... they take so much out, and stuff at store is expensive... Quarterly packages are cheap and you can make sure personally that your man is eating right!

Hopefully I will talk tohim and convince him that I should order a package before the Quarter is up. I am with you....it is way cheaper. As far as the restitution goes he can make payments when he gets home and goes back to work. I think it is really unfair to the family to take the restitution out when they are in. Now if they get out and never make any attempt to pay it I can understand....but can they at least get chance to get out work and pay it....sorry! I am venting!

last time it got to the prison in 3 days. Then it sat in the mail room for almost 2 weeks.

Once when I sent a package it took so long for him to get it after it was already delivered. I called the prison and was told that the prison has up to 10 days to give it to the inmate. It really sucked at Christmas because they held it nine days so he didnt get it till after Christmas. I have only used californiainmatepackage.com, I cant remember the name of it. Only took a few days to get to the prison.

I sent mine a package last month, and it took him a month to get it!! But then again KVSP was having issues in the mail room.

call the place you ordered it from and see if there are any problems. I had this problem and they never called me, they said they don't do that they send the inmate a card. I got mad and said I ordered it, I paid for it. Finally got it all corrected and he got the package but if I were you I would call the company and see if there are any problems then call the mail room and the facility and check. Good luck.

Inmates in RECEPTION CANNOT receive quarterly/special packages.

If you know, could you tell me what vendors Pelican Bay uses for their quarterly packages? Or where I could find that information.
