Can someone tell me what to expect in prison

I will be turning myself in on Monday. I am being charged with intoxication manslaughter. I am very scared and nervous. Most of all I do not know what to expect. Can someone inform me of what it is like?

I have been there not in a TX prison, but here In WA i know its a frightening experience if you have never even been to jail. How much time did they give you? My best advice would be to follow the rules and just do your time. I know when i first went to Prison i didnt know what to expect but one i got there and went through oreientation it wasnt as bad as i expected. Just keep your chin up and good luck. I know that if i made it you can too hun. one you get the ball rolling and get the time started and stay busy while your there the time will seem to fly by. will keep you in my thoughts and prayers if you ever need to talk im just a pm away and Welcome to PTO.
