Default Visitor limits?

I read somewhere that there is a limit to the amount of people visiting. I have six children. We would all like to see him at once. Is this possible? My husband is at HDSP right now in reception. He will probably be in CCC when transferred. Will either place allow all of us to see him at once? Shelly

Someone here told me 5 was the limit but no one has confirmed that. Gosh I would think that since they are children it wouldnt matter. I was visiting at the Shasta County jail once and this man brought in 2 kids to see their mom and the limit is 2 so he was going to send the kids up by themselves and that wasnt allowed either. It was so sad becuase the older boy said he would wait so the younger daughter could go, when they went up the boy cried some. I wanted to just take him up myself. That was mean!! Laura

The limit is 5 including children. However, I'm sure if you contacted his counselor or the Visiting Lt. they could make some type of exception. I mean come on, those are your children. Good luck!

You can break up your visit half go in and the other half can go. Do they have friends on the outside there. Because they will watch half the kids while the other visit.

It's a group that help family of inmates with all kinds of stuff. The one at SVSP as a trailor my the gate. They offer babysitting for 3 hours of children who don't visit. Like when I took my grandsons, their paper will right so they couldn't go in. They also offer clothes to wear, if the ones your wearing are not approved.
