Default making wrong choices during your visit

do you think i should report someone who is sneaking money to their fiance' through a bag of chips?? i know it is a felony. this is more than a one time occurence! i really think i should call the warden - we all dont have to loose are visits.

I think you should mind your own business. If people find out you ratted someone out then your man could suffer the retribution. IMO

I totally agree with Ravenslove on this one! Don't ever be a snitch ~ coz it can or would cause big problems for your man! That's what the guards are for ~ let them do their job ~ don't worry about it. Somebody else doing something wrong shouldn't affect your visits.

Sure, call the Warden and tell him, he'll have the COs do a complete search of every man who had visits around that time, maybe even every cell on the block and the CO's will probably explain that they recieved information that someone had recieved contraband during a visit....then EVERY man who had visits around that time will be suspected by every man on the yard. Sounds like a great way to get someone hurt.
Mind your own.

Default not such a good idea

i guess it was a stupid idea i just thought if they keep doing it would cause the prison to cancel visiting if the got caught, then everyone suffers so i thought i would stop that from happening!

no, they might lose THEIR visits, but if somebody getting caught smuggling had this result, nobody in prison would have got a visit since 1903

I can't see why they would sneak money in because it is virtually useless in prison.

I think that would be such a bad idea, I agree with everyone else, it will only cause your loved one to get hurt.

Remember, sometimes the Warden's are just as dirty as some of the CO's and they might tell who snitched, so I would have to agree with everyone else and stay out of it!

ewoods,
Doing what you stated at the beginning of this thread is something the vast majority of people feel very strongly about because of some of the things they mentioned. I think they were more cautioning you than being rude.

ewoods,

I'm very sorry if you thought thaat we were being rude, it was just a point. Some of us already know how that's like, personally I have never been involved in something like that. But after what I've seen, I know that I would never do that...But once again, I'm really sorry if you thought it was rude, SORRY!
