Default Pre - sentencing letters to the Judge

Hello to all of the great Memebers of PTO !!!
You have all been so very helpful with my past questions I thought to post another of concern. Does anyone have some examples of letters of character and recommendations from family members of a loved one prior to sentencing. I believe it helps to have as many of these positive lettes as possible for the judge to review before passing judgement etc.
I have not been charged as of yet but know the whip is coming down and desire to be as prepared as humanly possible for the enevitable. Thanks in advance to all of you wonderful members @ PTO. Always try to remain positive as life is full of many twisits and turns ..... Hello to Tana "Long Live The Goat" How is your hubby?

I hope these help. Here are two seperate links with example of Letters to the Judge. The First is posted by Janelle:

Both appear to be a good starter template; however, in all honesty I believe a REAL and HEARTFELT letter from your soul is just as imporant. I know many of these letters a commonly referred to by Judges as Love Letters because that is all most of them say...i.e.. "Please do not send him/her away because I love them". This is all fine and good; however, what Judges need to hear is valid reasons why the world is a better place with our loved one on the outside. What kind of community involvement do they have. What hardship is created on innocent others by removing this person from our world. Keep it real and keep it honest. It may not move the Judge much but every downward departure is a step in the right direction.

Keep the Faith

Also sometimes your attorney will ask you for a list of people you want to write letters then he will write to them and tell them what to include and not to include in their letters etc... As my attorney put it "if you think this is censorship, it is. I can't risk anything being said that can undue the good I have done for Cindi up to this point."
