The answer is probably not, but I guess it depends on the PO and the state you are in. In Colorado I do know of a married couple that were also co-defendants on the same case and were able to visit each other but they both got permission from their PO'S and it wasnt a problem. But I wouldnt hold my breath on this because I dont think that a PO is going to give permission for this kind of living arrangment for two parolees, but it never hurts to ask.As far as the out of state tansfer it takes a long time especially out of California, I tried to do one out of CA in 97 and they told me it could take up to a year, but going from another state to CA only takes a few months. Im doing one now and its taking some time. The Parole office that I was trying to do my transfer from was Barstow and the PO'S there dont care about anything. So if you are not out of the Barstow Parole it might not be that bad, but still expect it to take some time.

the parole officer my husband has let his brother live with us! big fat mistake!!!! my husband was already 2 1/2 years into his parole time with only 4 months to go when his brother that was just out of prison on parole, was lazy and worthless laying on my couch all day long. long story short my husband is almost done with a 90 day parole viotlation he got for trying to help his brother. so please be careful of who you let live in your home with you!

NO, in the state of California a person on parole can not live with another person on parole.

Default parolees together

I live in CA and from what I know they can not stay together. That is a parole violation.

It must depend on the parole officer because my husband is on parole and so was his brother and he was allowed to live with us. he was paroled to kern county and tranfered to fresno county. at first he had the same parole officer as my husband, then he got his own. and both parole officers would even come to the house for the visits. and if i wouldnt have been for the brother violating his parole and being kicked out of fresno county, then he would probably still be living with us!

what do you mean when you say "it is a set-up"? The reason I'm asking is because I felt that same way after my husbands brother was living with us for a while. Do you think that they were both involved? Just curious.
