In some cases NOBODY can pick you up; my husband was relased from a FCI Med and had to take the bus. Yes, I understand we could have thought about the getting off the bus thing, but after ten full years in prison it just seemed safer to do things how they wanted for a few more months.
I was prepared for them to not let me - the dangerous convict wife - pick him up, but they turned down ALL family too.
If I am not mistaken, I believe it has to be a member of his immediate family; however, I would suggest you call his facility and ask to speak with his Unit Councelor or the Executive Assistant and take it from there. These folks will surely be able to point you in the right direction. Whatever you do, try to keep it above board so as not to borrow trouble.

Hello I Am Planning On Picking Up Roger In January 2006, He Told Me I Just Have To Mail My Registration And My Insurance To The Prison Sothey Will Have A Record Of It. I Was Told By Roger That He Will Have To Report To The Halfway House Right Away. I Hope Nothing Changes Because I Dont Want To Be Disappointed.
