Default Family Visits

Has anyone heard anything about the state wanting to take away family visits? My husband was upset this morning saying, that he heard as of next year they were going to do that.. I would appreciate any info... He said it was for anyone with Violent crimes, such as robbery,etc...

Unless there is something new not too long ago there was AB212 (I think) and is was defeated. If there is another attempt to stop family visits I am sure that everyone here that gets them would appreciate any new information that you have. If you search the forums here you will find a lot of info of that assembly bill that failed.

I know that they TRY to do that every year. They tried this year - I believe back in March but it was not successful. I remember hearing that they were going to TRY and do it again. Tell him it's not a done deal.

I heard the rumor at Mule Creek that they would take family visits as of November 06, due to budget cuts. But you know how they are....
