my husband just left half way house and if you are eligible for the monitor once you have had a job for 60 days you can leave on a monitor as long as you have been good. he put in a request for them to check after he had been working for 5 weeks and on the monitor they still earn their credits.

So you have to be 1/2 eligible before the monitor correct? I believe with us it all comes together around the same time. He currently is working and has been, he is at a community center right now. I know there are only like 4 half way beds there and I'm hoping like crazy that he doesn't get moved once he becomes 1/2 eligible. But like I said the 1/2, monitor and parole all come within one month of each other. We have a year from this month and I'm already so excited. Guess I thought we would never see it come so close. It's just a lot of crap can happen between now and then and we don't need none of it. Not that he is one to get into trouble but things can happen and it scares me to death. Some days I don't know if I'll ever make it. I take it one day at a time but sometimes the days get the best of me. Were was your man doing 1/2 at if you don't mind me asking? Hope all goes well for ya. Keep me posted about that monitor cause I don't know of anyone else that has gone thru it yet.
