Default Introduction From Moderator

Hi, Everyone:

My name is Linda, and I am honored, jazzed, you name it to be the new moderator of this site. Although still in the learning process, I welcome questions. I may not know the answer, but be certain I will do my best to find it for you. No question is dumb. Take care.

Okay then, are there any major companies that hire ex-felons? Email me at Personal email address removed by Administrator - Please see PTO policies if you know of any. Especially in the CT area. I have been relegated to delivering pizza and modelling for colleges because of my record.

here's a tip that alot of people don't know about....UPS has an exoffender employment program....I have worked with supervisors of UPS that have told me about the countless times that people have applied and lied on their applications about NOT having felons, when in reality they hire exoffenders through their program....the only trick is that you have to be referred to them by an organization that they are working with....and I'm sure they some restrictions on the nature of the crime....

My fiance was employed by UPS when he became incarcerated (one thing had nothing to do with the other). I wonder if they might be willing to hire him back. Do you know how we could find that out?
