Default Need advise and HELP! court of appeals

I need some help on typing up Richards Appeal for the Tenth Circuit.

I have Word Perfect but I can't figure out how to put in the

Also is this appeal suppose to be formatted especially for legal size paper?

I am severely stressed out about this It has to be perfect and I am NOT a typist. I would hire it out but he needs it filed ASAP and I don't know the first place to look to hire they typing done.

I don't know niether :-(

But a lot of symbols are done by using the left alt key and a number combination from the number pad on the right. Like alt168 gets Ώ alt147,alt168,alt147 gets τΏτ lift off the alt key after each combination.

I'm off to the salt mine so I don't have time to play with it.

Well I have type eight pages and just used cut and paste. SLowed me downa bit but its § on there.
Now I'm having trouble with where do I put foot notes or end notes.

He gave me the list of Table of cases
and End notes but he did not number them through out the case.

Egads............I can't figure out what goes to what.

Ms. Torrey:
The COA in the tenth circuit has no special expectations for typing an appeal by the lay person. Your foot note question can be handled by placing a number on each case reference and making a separate page with the cases listed in their numerical order. A person that works for a lawyer , types for a local judge, or any other legal clerk such as paralegals will sometimes take side jobs of typing. Most are inexpensive, proficient, and prompt with completing the work. Ask at your local courthouse for a person of reference. The symbol, I can not help you with, but a computer teacher at your local school or college would know. Sometimes in the index and after pages of the word perfect text, you can find a list of those symbols and their appropriate keystrokes. Good luck in finding and call your typing teacher at a trade school......................38 Special.............................
