Default My Mother's day Poem

My daughter's wrote this for me for mother's day.

MOM

A word that is misused.
She's believed to be the one to make lunches.
Clean the house while the husband works,
and take care of the kids

But not every family is a picture perfect family.
I see her as the person who I go to with a problem,
The one who left her love to make sure her babies would be ok.
The one who tries so hard when everything seems to fail.
Who never once gave up when the road seemed to come to an end.
The one who works 5 nights a week
and still has time to make it to the band concert or award assembly.
The one who buys music intstruments to see her babies do something they love,
Even when she can't afford it.
The one who goes out of her way to make sure that we always have a home to go to
And plenty of Mac & Cheese to eat
(Even though only one person eats it)
The one who never gives up on her daughter,
No matter how many fights there are.
The one who brags to everyone at work about how smart we are,
EVen when we struggle with grades.
The one who has been through so much
Yet is so strong.
The one who stands for what she believes in,
No matter how many people disown her.
The one wh misses out on sleep to make sure we make it to doctor appointmenst,
EVen if it's only a sore throat.
The one who is there to hold us when we have guy troubles,
The one who sits back and lets us live our lives.
Even when we make wrong decisions.
But is there in a heartbeat when the wrong decision gets out of hand.
The one who lets us of grounding,
Or maybe just forgets. But I'll be quiet now
She's the one who I'll brag to my kids about.
The one I'll never be ashamed of or turn my back on.
The one who I'll buy mansions for when I get rich.
Or maybe just a new car.
Who knows, but at least I know what a real mom is.

Arn't my KIDS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joy
