Default The Weaver

My life is but a weaving between the Lord and me
I know not the colors He weaveth steadily.
At times He weaveth sorrow and I in fooish pride
Forget He sees the upper...and I the underside.
Not till the loom is silent and the shuttle ceases to fly
Shall He unveil the canvas and reveal the reasons why
The dark threads were as needful
in the weaver's skillful hands
As threads of gold and silver
In the pattern that He planned.

Sherry, I agree, if not for God being in control of things, we humans would certainly make a mess of things. Oh, wait, we are making a mess of the world now aren't we? If only this country would go back to "In God we Trust". Isn't that what this country was founded on Religious Freedom? Boy, nowadays, it certainly doesn't feel that way.

No prayer in schools (although my 9 year old will fight that one everyday). She prays at lunchtime and gets in trouble. she tells them that as long as she is a Christian and isn't praying out-loud and bothering others, she doesn't see why she can't pray. (YES!!!!! Seems I finally did teach her something right after all).

THANKS FOR THAT POEM....

HOW VERY TRUE THIS IS..... INTO EVERY LIFE SOME RAIN MUST FALL IN ORDER TO SEE THE SUN......GOD DOES WEAVE OUR LIVES... EVERY DAY WE LIVE, HE GIVES US MORE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT HIM AND WHAT HE STANDS FOR.. THIS WILL HELP US KNOW WE ARE HIS CHILDREN AND HE LOVES US...
