Hi everyone, I need some additional prayers over the next couple of weeks. I have known for years that I have a condition in my breasts called Fibercystic Tumor Disease, however, I have found several small new lumps over the last several days. Also a lump on my foot. I am making an appointment with my doctor as soon as I can. What makes this really scary for me is the fact that my mom, her sister, my grandmother and her sister have all died from breast cancer. Please keep me in your prayers.
Tracy... just another quick post to let you know you've been added to the "special prayers" list.... We will be hoping it's nothing... I can't imagine your fear....

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts everyone. I haven't told Goody yet, but I plan to write him about it today. I know he would be upset with me if I didn't tell him and something serious happened. This way he can pray about it also.
Yes, it is best to keep your guy informed and US also. You need all the support that's available.
Over 21 yrs, I had two girlfriends that had both breast removed The first in real life and I was the nurse, the second an online romance and stories were told, until we met.
If you want a guys point of view on the subject just email me!
Thanks everyone!!! I finally did break down and wrote to my husband. I didn't want to worry him until I knew something, but I promised not to keep secrets from him.
MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU.... I KNOW HE WILL... YOU ARE SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON AND WE ALL LOVE YOU VERY MUCH.... PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED SO WE KNOW HOW YOU ARE. THAT IS THE ONE BAD THING ABOUT HAVING PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT SO FAR AWAY... IT IS HARD TO KEEP EACH OTHER POSTED ON HOW WE ARE..

Thanks everyone for the prayers. I called my doctor today, because my insurance won't kick in for another couple of weeks and he said since the lumps are tender to the touch, they are probably nothing to worry about, but he went ahead and scheduled the mammogram for me just to be safe. Thank God for that. He knows about the insurance, so he found out exactly when the insurance will start and scheduled the test for after that - the very next day. So I go on the 17th for that. But he does want to remove the one from my foot. Which means surgery and time off from the new job already. When it rains it pours, right?
