I live 20 minutes from Bayside in Millville. We have 3 hotels which would also be about 20 minutes from there. There is a Best Western and a Country Inn and one other I wouldn't suggest staying at. Best Western is the cheapest.

Country Inn is nice and about a mile from my house but Bestwestern is about $10 a night cheaper. At least a couple of months ago it was.

Make sure you DO NOT wear an underwire bra! I was visiting one of the kids I work with there for a WINDOW visit and I got snagged at the metal detector. I offered to take off my underwire and they refused...all that driving for nothing!? Just an FYI...

The Holiday Inn Express in Vineland is the newest hotel in the area and I've never had a bad experience there. It is also *right next* to the Cumberland Mall, Coldstone Creamery (ice cream), Friendly’s, Applebee's and Red Lobster. They have a free continental breakfast in the morning too. Ask for a room on the 3rd floor as it is a little quieter. Right off of Rte. 55 and you can get to Bayside in about 20 minutes.

I stayed at the Wingate Inn in Vineland a couple of weeks ago and while it was pretty nice and very clean I wouldn't pay the extra money for it over the Holiday Inn Express again.

I must have just had a bad room or something, but I would never go back to the Country Inn in Millville. My room was dirty and the bathroom was gross.

I was thinking of trying the Ramada Inn next to the Wingate Inn next, but for the most part I'd definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Express.

Make sure you leave EVERYTHING in your car or at the hotel. They will not permit you to bring in carlock systems (the ones that are usually attached to your car keys), no more than 20-25 dollars. (my son refuses to let me buy anything on the premises-it's only sodas and snacks.) You can not mail in any postage stamps. And any books must be directly from a book store or manufacturer...Amazon, Half.com, etc. OH...don't forget the bug spray...I think the gnats are trained to annoy.
