Default Medication Assist

Hey I don't know about you guys- but medication can get expensive. I found sort of by accident that OU Medical offers a medication assist program if your individual income is below $18k or households less than $25- Most Dr's scripts can be sent to you for $30 for 3mo worth. (Of couse this is on meds you take daily) Anyway it's a big help to me. I live in OKC but I think it's for all OK residents, as there's a toll-free number. It took me about a month to get the paperwork- I just sent mine in so I'm not sure but I think it's pretty quick from there. But hey some help is better than none!
To get enrolled it's:
OU Medication Assist
OU Medical Center
Presbyterian Prof. Bldg.
711 SL Young Suite 700
OKC,OK 73104
405-271-6278 or toll-free 866-751-7797
fax: 405-271-6287
Hope this may help someone- feel free to pm me if I can offer you any other info.

Thanks for those ideas! I have a couple daily meds I'm supposed to take but unless my doc has samples they are a wee bit too pricey for me...lol. I just might look into this if the sample fairy runs out again
