Classification

My husband has a restriction on his file to where he can not have contact visits with kids. It was a 2 year sentence, the two years is over and he still can’t have a contact visits with the kids. He has asked me to write Classification to have this remove. Has any one heard of this being done before?

Also I went to visit him Saturday. I was told that the boot camp area was full so we had to visit inside. I asked if I could wait i was told no. Well yesterday in a letter from him he said that they can not tell me no if I want to wait. If it happens again to ask for the person in charge of visiting. Is this also true?

I would definitely call the unit he is in and talk with visiting about the question on visits, each unit is just a little different. Then call the classification office to about the two years being taking off. I think this would be done when they are reclassified every six months.
