Hi i am not really one to leave posts and i am new to this site. But i have a few questions. I was wondering if anyone out there has to use Tenetix to have their loved ones call and if they are having problems? My boyfriend and i have been useing it for a year and it has been nothing but a headache. They also put the phone cards in his prison but they keep screwing that up. Just wondered if someone besides me was venting. I have gotten now where with them.

Hi Glinda, Im from Jersey and my husband hasn't been able to get through to the house yet!!! I dont know what phone service it is, but he's in Rahway State Prison.

I am so sorry Shy about your Husband. I know how i feel when i can not talk to my boyfreind. How long has he been there? Did his prison switch to a different phone company?
That is the case with mine. They had AT&A at Albion. Then switched to this Tenetix. They do have these phone card things but he buys them and they price to call keeps going up.
I have had a block placed on my phone 6 times in one year. Over really dumb things. They never sent me a copy of the rates or how the company does there billing after many many times i have asked. They are very very rude. I end up sitting on the phone for hours on end trying to fix it it takes weeks sometimes. I am babbling on Have you contacted the prison? Why can he not call you?

I'm sorry for your frustrations with this company. I also had them awhile back and I can totally relate. I don't have much to offer you in advice, but here is a link to other members discussing this service and what they have been through. You'll find stories very similiar to yours!

We do promote the service of Tele-net here at PTO. I'm not sure what the cost effectiveness would be, but give them a call and they'll give you a quote.

i have to use tenetix to get calls from mark and it IS a pain ! the first minute costs 5$ and sometimes it will disconnect for no reason, so i have to pay 5$ at a time for the first minute each time he calls me back.. it's a total scam, but what choice do you have?

I have looked into that. I had a conversation with my boyfriend about that. Just not sure what to do. I would never want to do anything to get him to not be able to call. Fact is the Prison gets a cut of that money and they do not like that messed with. I would love to get a copy of the terms and rules with t-netx

Ask others on here about tele net. The ones that have it swear by it and have never had any problems at all....
