Please Help- Need info about calls in Nevada

ok my man is in High Desert State Prison right now in Nevada. I've been reading some of your stories about how you pay almost 500$ a month for phone calls. Does anyone know the cost of phone calls here? Because I can't afford that. How do I set up to get phone calls? What's the cheapest way?

If he's in vegas and he's in HDSP then the phone calls are $4.15-$5 for 30 minutes. If he calls you only for two minutes they still charge you like $2 to $3. It also depends on what time of the day he calls you and if on weekdays or weekends. I don't know what's the cheapest way I'm still in between Local123, Vonage, and just gettin another phone with the same area code where my honey is located at. To set up an account you just have to call Global Tel to set up it up like that they will take that block off your phone. If you want to get cheaper calls you basically have to go through two companies. But you need have Global Tel no matter what.

Well you have to set up an account with Global Tel no matter what because that is the phone provider for the prison.

You don't have to go through a second company.

But if you want cheaper calls you can set up an account with a second company like local123, vonage, saveonprisoncalls.... and they give you a number local to the prison. Like that when he calls it will be a local call not long-distance. Your boyfriend has to put the number they gave you on his phone list and when it's approved he has to make the first attempt to call. After he makes the first attempt you have to call Global Tel and set up an account with that number. Then when the account is set the second company (local123, vonage, etc...) forwards his call to you when he calls.
