Default Why is my loved one in prison

My son is in prison 3-20 years. He got in trouble when he was 15 for stealing and was put on probation. He completed and even the Judge raved that he was such a good kid and a model for the system. She shook his hand. He is very intelligent (too much so that he is a good manipulator). He graduated in June and I had a big graduation party for him, relatives came from out of town, and we were all so very proud. He got accepted for every college he applied. He was on the National Honor Society. He has a beautiful girlfriend, and a great job, car, lives at home with no bills. My house was surrounded by police in tactical gear at 230 AM the weekend before his party-a week after his graduation. UGH-he was arrested for Armed robbery and Felonious assault. Apparently, and why I didn't catch this-smh, him and his gf were hooked on Xanax and partying everyday. I knew he smoked weed and drank some, but never did I dream of the mess he was in, he was eating 6-8 bars a day!! That is on top of the weed, booze, coke, acid, and whatever else they could get their hands on. Him, his girl, and two others had the victim meet up in the park with his girl-him and the other two came after a few, beat him up using a baseball bat-luckily he was not hurt badly-no broken bones, no stitches, but bruised up. They then proceeded to steal his weed and Xanax-he is a known drug dealer. I bonded my son out-$50000 bond! His dumb ass continued hanging out and was again arrested for being in a car with stolen booze and everyone was under 21- MIP. Again bonded out $500. Well, then 2 days later he is arrested at work for that stolen booze-Retail fraud. This time there was no getting him out as now he was approached by a detective and it seems was at the scene (witness thankfully) to his good friend commiting another armed robbery put a gun to two people and stole their phones and cash. My dumb son watched and never said anything-he could have been charged too, but in order to not be and to get the MIP and retail fraud dropped he had to plead to armed robbery. He just turned 19 in prison. No bootcamp, no Holmes Youth Act, No way to get expunged, and it follows him forever. He sure did it this time UGH

God, That's a life sentence for hm mentally I imagine. I got a DUI and hit a car in front of me (rolling to a stop light at 10 mph) a few years ago and still lie in bed and shake thinking about what could have happened.

Aggravated Robbery was Capital Murder. The story i got was he was driving the damn car when a stupid passenger decided to rob the the place and kill a man. He got 45 years as a result. The killer on death row and the other two men got life. Guess I can say he got the best deal, but not really! First offense. Was Adjudicated with 10 years papers, but the state went for him so that was that. Has to serve 22 1/2. We hitting year 15 next July.

Bizarre medical experiments on yourself = hospitalization & stay in mental ward
Bizarre medical experiments on others against their will = serious criminal charges and lengthy prison sentence.

"Qyburn" learned the hard way.

Gross Vehicular Manslaughter causing the death of two passengers, both of them friends. They got 7 years to be served without parole. It's a life sentence regardless of the facts.
