Dental Care in Solano Prison - California

Hello,
My husband went to the dentist today with a small cavity that needs to be cleaned and refilled. They told him that they would only extract the tooth. Does anyone know when they will doing dental cleaning and procedures again?

smh. What qualifies for dental care in prisons seems a crime to me. No need to pull a tooth for a cavity. My dentist refuses to pull teeth unless all other options have been exhausted. He says it will cause more issues with the rest of his teeth if he pulls one.
I dont know who you could contact but I hope he does not go with his tooth being pulled.

Sadly, that's what prisons in KY do. They just pull the tooth rather than fix it.

Your husband will need to use the 602 process to appeal this dental decision.
