Yeah I thought about just waiting to get married once he's out but we've been in the process of getting married since October plus I already sent off for the marriage license along with a $90 money order so the trains already in motion so to speak. And I don't mind having to be alone after we marry I figure he'll only have 2 or 3 months left to serve by that time. We planned on having a real ceremony in Jamaica once he's off paper and then having our honeymoon right after. I just want to be his wife that's what matters to me.

And yeah the sleepless nights are hard but I figure hey at least it's for a much better reason than in the past, like right after the arrest, or sentencing or just knowing he had years and not months. I know you're happy your husband will be home Really soon too! Omg I can't believe we made it to 2018! Yaay us! Lol

I have missed so much sleep I'm just about used to it now. I can barely sleep with him not being in bed with me I would struggle with that when he was home and I had to work early and he would stay up late. That is so sweet, you guys seem to really love and depend on eachother. Well soon all this loss and separation will be a distant memory you can put behind you and you can just enjoy being together again for the rest of your lives.

Thanks for the responses, I don't have many people to share my excitement with. To them getting married in prison or celebrating the homecoming of an inmate is strange and taboo and I'm sure I'd get the side eye all day lol This forum is so full of excitement and hope, I love it!

SO THESE ARE THE TIMES WHEN I MISS MY HUSBAND MOST!!!

Ended up in the ER last night with excruciating pain in my abdomen. My daughter went with thank goodness. Ended up being my gallbladder is enlarged but not enough to need surgery. They don't really give pain meds for a stomach ache so i I left with nothing. I feel like I have a knife in my stomach. Ugh. I made an apt with my husband GI specialist for Thursday and am hoping they can do a scope and check out my stomach itself to rule that out. Ugh. I wish he was here I'm terrified to be honest.

mines is due to come home in October as well but he is waiting for a date to be released to the halfway house. does anyone know how long that takes to get a response? also he just went to the shu last week. does anyone know if that will affect his chances of going to the halfway house?

I wish I could answer that question. I hope it doesn't though. I know here in Michigan they get tickets level 1-3. Level 3 not so bad but level 1 Will definitely effect you getting out on time. Keep us posted if you hear anything.

I know you have your appointment tomorrow. I hope it goes ok and you find out what's going on with your stomach! Feel better and take care of yourself! Before you know it your hubby will be able to go to doctor appointments with you and be there when you're not feeling well. Hang In There not much longer to go ((hugs))

Thank you so much. The internet makes me worry more then I should with all the possibilities. My husband is a nervous wreck as well. I just hope they can look at my blood work and the ultrasound sound from the ER and tell me what's up.

I feel the same. My stomach hurts so bad I can barely eat anything with out feeling like I'm going to die. I went to the Dr and they don't take my insurance. Don't know why they didn't know that when I called to make the apt. But I went to my family Dr and he is supposed to find someone in my network and hopefully I will get in this week coming up and they can figure it out. I myself thinks it's an ulcer and so does the pharmacist at my job but who knows. I just want to feel better. I get to see my husband tomorrow so I'll be happy then.

How was today’s visit? I am thinking of taking tomorrow off work and going to see my love (surprise visit) I miss him even tho it’s only been like 2 weeks since our last visit.

7 hours? I'm SO jealous! Ours are only 3 hour visits. It was a good visit! We talked a lot about what's going to/needs to happen in the next couple of months so we are ready for this Spring time Parole! We now have a game plan that we can start executing. I need plans and checklists otherwise I will drive myself crazy. LOL!

Yep visits are from 1030-830. I could of stayed a few more hours but I was really tired and so was he. 7 hours is a nice long visit. I have check lists to lol. I have so much to get some done before he comes home. He said to leave some stuff for him but I want to have most of it looking nice so he comes home he can relax.
