Default Hello, everyone! Moderator frostwoman1954 Intro

My name is Michele and I just finished my moderator training and am ready to assist Travesita. My fiance is sentenced to LWOP (Life WithOut Parole) in Alabama's Holman Prison.

If I can help anyone, answer questions, etc. I am available. I will be moderating policy and not people.

Michele

Hello Lifer Family. I used to be online alot and in this forum the most, I do not have a home computer anymore so I am usually at the library and have to be quick, check email and do whatever computer work I need done. I am going to have my 7th wedding anniversary with my lifer in December, been together a total of 9 years, we are MWI. If I do not reply to a post its due to the computer situation. I hope everyone is doing well, my husband and I have had a challenge, in October 09 he was transferred 440 miles away, a 7 hour drive, and we have only seen eachother 3 times. We still speak daily and write often, but this has been a big strain on our relationship. We continue to pray he gets moved closer. I don't have to explain the financial burden of a move this far to everyone, motels, meals, gas, time off from work. Not to mention I don't have good night vision to drive and all that good stuff.
I will try to check in more regularly as I find this forum very supportive and informative and non judgemental like the most of the people in my life. I continue to have people encourage me to divorce him, or date other men, or rethink my decision to marry a lifer. I get sick of the negativity. I would move near him but I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren and an elderly mother all in town here with me. Not so easy to uproot. Best wishes and warm thoughts to all the people holdin it down for their lifers. Nice to meet the newest moderator.
