I don't disagree with your conclusion. Interestingly enough, I spoke w/my LO today--he is located in the infirmary at Avenal. He said the staff is running around making a lot of noise about Avenal and Pleasant Valley being in a "state of emergency." Mind you, a lot of noise but he can't see them accomplishing anything--sound and fury signifying nothing.

I will add, that my lo's annual was put on hold to deal with "transfers", per his counselor.
He is at PVSP, and he told me today, it all about the medical transfers, and valley fever.

Me, too! Actually, my LO is not sick, or in any "high risk" group, but he's been down for 15 years +, on a 3 strikes violation.
Oh yeah, and tomorrow is my birthday!!
I am just hoping and praying for some good news for any of us here!!!!

Tomorrow, can't get here quick enough! I'm on pins and needles.
I pray Brown, doesn't ask for an extension. That would just suck!
My LO, is at PV, he is not sick or in any high risk group. However, this realignment would benefit US.
Like I said before enough is enough Jerry...start releasing the overdue Lifers and Ill. Its enough stalling. Its time to comply mister and allow the FEDS to take over! So you can blame them.
I will be praying for a positive outcome.....It's in God's hands.
If anyone hears anything please keep us posted. I'm gonna be glued to my I-phone tomorrow....

I want people moved and released but I worry because mine was told that if more sick inmates needed to move to his prison/level he may move prisons. Then no visits for us.

There are no court houses opened until midnight least of all the federal ones. So the state is going to have to get busy and get these documents filed.

Question about airborne fugus
a few day ago I was on online looking up info on California prisons and came across an article don't remember where it was but it stated that Avanal and pleasant valley both had an airborne fugue going around making inmates really sick and evan that some inmates had died from the fungus and that it was being investigated but governor brown was doing much else. the article say that it had been suggested to move inmates for there safety but governor brown wanted to wait until a hearing that was set for June 17th before he do anything. I'm worried since my husband is at pleasant valley and already has other health conditions. my questions are:
1) has anyone else seen or heard anything about this
2) where and how can I getting more info

I don't care if one is at risk or not. they should all be moved to prevent any further breakouts. if the govrnmt would spend some more time on this matter they would see that moving inmates from those 2 areas is the best thing. its bad enough every prison is over crowded, but it didn't stop them from stacking 3 feet high beds in the air... anyone in there right mind would want there loved one moved from those areas. for those who want them to stay, then you should read up on valley fever and you might have a second opinion on the matter.
one of my brothers is there and I want out... not because there is no room, but I don't want him to catch the valley fever..
valley fever doesn't see race, creed, sexual orientation, or what socks you wear... do whats best for humanity and stop looking at $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
all I see is greed from govrnmt and brown on this.. but god forbid if it was there son, you know that place would be shut down in 2 shakes of a lambs tail

I know this is only news, but the federal court documents are filed via on-line and they have up until midnight to file them.
Here is a link for all future reference.

Just type in Ralph Coleman in the box and anything associated with the three judge decision will come up.
